Summary - 

Danisha Gaul was born Danisha Culver in the sleepy town of Riverview.  She grew up together with her best friend Nielson Gaul and the two of them gradually progressed from friendship to romance over the course of their childhood. (1.1)  Bored with the sleepy town, Danisha convinced Nielson after they got married to move to the bustling city of Bridgeport where she dreamed that he would get a career as a stylist to the stars and she would be a stay-at-home mother to their beautiful children.  Unfortunately, this was not to be as Nielson was murdered by an unknown burglar shortly after they moved to the new city. (1.2)

Danisha was left devastated after her husband's death but was convinced by Romeo Rake to join the Bridgeport Police Department to find his murderer.  Before she could start her career, however, she found out she was pregnant with a baby boy who she named Nielson. (1.4)  She ended up sleeping with Romeo after a night of drinks. (1.6)  This led to Danisha's second pregnancy.  This time the baby was a little girl named Erika. (1.8)

Unfortunately, she never found evidence of who killed Nielson, despite her hard work in her career. (1.9)  Meanwhile her children had grown and teenage Nielson finally worked up the courage to go out on a date with popular girl Belisama. (1.12)  Around the same time child Erika also met  her future boyfriend, Collin. (1.13)  Danisha's focus on her career meant frequently missing out on her children's lives.  She missed her daughter's birthday as Erika celebrated it with Collin. (1.16)  It was clear that her children were moving on without her as Nielson proposed to his girlfriend as soon as he became a young adult. (1.17)  Danisha wouldn't see her son again until his wedding day with Belisama.  At the wedding, Danisha encountered Belisama's mother, Morrigan, who gave her a very bad feeling.  Erika also discovered that her brother had become a vampire. (1.19)

Upon returning home from the wedding, Erika encountered a burglar trying to rob their house.  Using a gun she had picked up in childhood, Erika discovered that he worked for a crime organization and had targeted them specifically before she killed him (1.20)  Erika feigned innocence to the murder and Danisha once again couldn't figure out who the murderer was.  At this time Erika and Collin also decided to go steady and attend prom together. (1.21)  After prom, Erika was kidnapped by Morrigan the leader of the crime organization.  Here she found out that Morrigan had ordered the burglary that had left Nielson dead at the beginning of the legacy.  She was about to be killed when Danisha and another officer interrupted them, but the gun went off and caused an explosion. (1.22)  The explosion left Erika badly scarred on the left side of her face. (1.23)  Danisha tried to get Erika to come out of her shell after the incident, but the distance between them from Erika working so much wouldn't close so easily.  At least Erika's boyfriend, Collin, was able to help. (1.23)  Unfortunately, despite all of her effort in her career, Danisha ended her generation without accomplishing her goal of catching Nielson's killer.

Two days after Erika became a young adult, Danisha reached level 10 of the forensics track, completing the Perfect Career roll.
